SWIM is a 3-year project focusing on growth and development within film and transmedia.
Through collaboration and synergies across Øresund, the aim is to support the development of new industry tools, improve funding opportunities, develop new talents and create an international hub for innovation.
At SWIM we believe in taking a step back and looking at the needs of a project: Why should the story be told? To whom? And what kind of movement does one want to create? When the answers to these questions have been found, one decides what formats the stories should be told in, and how.
SWIM is an initiative by CPH:DOX, New Danish Screen, Film i Skåne and BoostHbg. The project is co-financed by Interreg IVA.
Over the next years SWIM will initiate four activities related to talent development, networking and alternative financing in order to change the environment for cultural production both nationally and internationally.
Twice a year SWIM is opening a dialogue about how to push forward the development of transmedia.
We are launching the initiative in December 2012 by inviting a number of cultural and business personalities to elaborate on how to position Øresund as one of the leading regions within innovative media.
To support networking, knowledge sharing and competence development, SWIM is hosting two transmedia training programmes over the next years.

Number of meet ups: 3 x 5 days

New Blizz Conference

A unique financing forum, focusing on new collaborations and new business opportunities. 10 projects will get the oppurtunity to pitch to a group of alternative partners.
